Job Description Commercial Lender: This is a full relationship manager position responsible for generating new business, underwriting those deals and managing those relationships for the bank. There is a credit department to help with the number crunching but you are the underwriter. This is an opportunity to work with complex credits, build strong relationships with business leaders and with the senior management of the bank. If you have the commercial lending experience in Montgomery County, Maryland, are self motivated and have the confidence to represent a top quality bank selling commercial loans, banking services, underwriting your own loans, managing banking relationships and helping companies reach their potential then this could be your opportunity. They offer the products and services to continually outperform their competition. This position will be developing new business with small to middle market commercial companies, professionals and associations located in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. Primary Responsibilities • Develop new business by calling on commercial businesses, professionals and associations in the market area. • Provide top quality service to customers and prospects. • Manage the loan process and make underwriting decisions. • Play an active role in the community to further develop business opportunities. Job Qualifications • Current work experience, in the Washington DC, Maryland Suburb (also known as Montgomery County). • Demonstrated success in commercial lending, new business development and customer service. • Formal commercial credit training or equivalent experience. • Professional presentation skills. |
