The ideal candidate will have crop insurance sales experience and have familiarity with the crops in NE KS and CO. This could also be an option for you if you are presently on the servicing side and looking to jump into a marketing role.
 
Job Description:
This position is responsible for the marketing of crop insurance policies in the lower midwest. This position will work to cross-sell other bank products to new and existing customer base. Develop and manage a portfolio of crop insurance business - responsible for overall client satisfaction, customer retention and new customer referrals. Collaborate with bank loan officers to strengthen existing borrower client relationships by providing value added services such as risk management advise and crop insurance products. Support efforts to build the bank brand by introducing crop insurance clients to other products and services offered by the bank. Manage and conduct marketing activities in assigned geography in coordination with local and corporate marketing staff - i.e. grower meetings, trade shows, local events. Write crop insurance applications and perform service activities that are best performed with a physical presence at the farm gate. Other duties as assigned and as necessary to maintain the highest level of customer service and responsiveness.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: High School diploma with 3 years related experience or Bachelor’s Associate Degree with 1 year related experience, or combination of training and experience. Prior sales experience. Must maintain valid resident and non-resident crop insurance licenses. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of farming operations. Must keep current on Federal Crop Insurance Corporation regulations, underwriting policies and procedures
 
Preferred Qualifications: Current crop insurance licensing is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of crop insurance experience.
