Our client in Dallas, TX is seeking Underwriters to work on a project on-site that is expected to last a year or more. The positions offers hands-on training; competitive hourly rates; holiday pay, vacation and 401K (subject to minimum time requirements). Conversion to full-time may be possible for some positions. We also offer a monthly performance bonus and subsistence assistance (in lieu of relocation and living expense reimbursement). We have a great team of Appraisers and Underwriters on the project and welcome the opportunity to speak with you about joining the team. |

| Job Duties: ·Review closed loans ·Perform risk analysis ·Identify potential fraud ·Communicate the results of file reviews both verbally and in written format to internal and external customers ·Maintain a sound knowledge of secondary market activity, practices, and business/industry practices as they impact underwriting quality and origination activity All work is on-site in Dallas, TX—please do not apply if you are looking to work from home. Successful candidates will undergo background and drug screening. |

| ·Strong manual underwriting skills in the secondary market ·Experience making the decisions on a loan and analyzing / reviewing the information regarding a loan particularly closed loans ·Secondary market experience is ideal ·8+ years of underwriting experience ·Undergraduate degree strongly preferred ·Need to know Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines ·Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Please share this with your network of real estate and mortgage professionals. |
