Job Description:
This individual is a self-starting, driven professional who will flourish in a rapidly growing organization that presents unique opportunities and challenges. Major Job Functions: Recruiting: The primary responsibility of the Recruiter will be to lead all Firm recruiting efforts of Representatives and Advisors. Primary responsibilities will be to 1) Identify and lead targeted recruiting efforts aimed at attracting individuals (reps and advisors) known to the recruiter or other financial professionals who are or might be interested in the services provided by the Firm. 2) Develop lead generating programs which may include e-mail campaigns, vendor referral programs, referral generation from existing network, or other specific marketing efforts. 3) As the firm grows, the recruiter will also develop a recruiting department including additional recruiters, service personnel, and internal assistants to service reps. 4) In addition to reps and advisors, it is also desirable that additional third party advisory relationship be established for the Firm’s Management platforms. Initial Orientation of Recruited Professionals: Once reps and advisors have been recruited, the recruiter will also assist in initial stages of joining the Firm network and helping them to integrating into the Firm through motivation, education, and training of reps and advisors in basic practice areas, and helping reps identify opportunities and associated training needs Management Team Member The Recruiter will be a part of the management team and will have ample opportunity to impact the growth of the organization. Firm Representative In the role of Recruiter, the individual will represent the Firm in various capacities and will have the opportunity to raise the firm’s profile and communicate the Firm’s story externally. In addition to the various activities comprising routine recruiting responsibilities, the Recruiter will be a part of Firm conferences and possibly various other events ranging from third party conferences to trade shows.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: Successful candidates for this position should meet the following minimum qualifications: Five+ years experience recruiting Financial Advisors Local candidates will be given a priority Documentation of a successful recruiting track record The ability to assist in transition of advisors to the firm FINRA Series 7 Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong knowledge of the securities industry
