The Staffing Specialist is accountable for achieving temporary sales goals and temporary-to-hire fees through the following key areas: Recruiting, Staffing, & Operations
 
Job Description:
Responsibilities: # Actively recruit qualified Accounting professionals through the use of direct recruiting, internet, referral programs and networking in the business community # Conduct interviews and skill assessments on recruited candidates, including behavioral interviews, technical skill testing and reference checking # Place appropriately skilled candidates on temporary assignments and conduct quality control calls on all orders # Negotiate appropriate pay rates for temporary employees and bill rates for clients # Manage employees assigned to temporary projects and provide ongoing coaching, counseling and career support # Communicate various aspects of temporary staffing division operations to ensure compliance with established goals and objectives # Conduct research on prospective and current customers # Conduct proactive business development efforts including marketing, in-person client meetings, client lunches and further penetrating existing client accounts # Maintain client satisfaction through follow up and quality control activities for temporaries on assignment # Maintain key metrics such as high fill ratio, interview activities and business development activities # Provide customers with appropriate information on trends relating to the Accounting profession and staffing related issues (salary surveys, etc..) # Participate in local professional, business and civic organizations to enhance personal development and to promote company recognition Candidate Qualities: * Hard worker, willing to work OT * Relationship builder * Motivated by the thrill of a sale * Creator and implementer of new ideas * Persistent * Goal setter * Good listener * Asks good questions * Stays in touch with clients * Passionate and enthusiastic * High level of integrity * Organized, good planner * Knows who the competition is and what they are doing * Knowledgeable about the products he or she is selling * Handles rejection well * Enjoys meeting new people, timely and reliable * Keeps abreast of industry news and trends * Looks for opportunities wherever they go * Enjoys learning new things * Participates in community activities and affairs * Is self-reliant * Is responsible and does whatever it takes to be successful accountant with a sales personality can be an excellent fit as well.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: Four-year college degree or equivalent business experience # Minimum of two years of business experience in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment # Prior staffing and/or recruiting experience a plus. An accountant with a sales personality can be an excellent fit as well.
